Lessons from Van Gogh

When it comes to todays world, we are obsessed in finding fame through our work, and don't take into consideration that fame isn't always acquired as quickly as we hope. In many cases, it causes some to give up, figuring their work isn't good enough to be famous. In the case of Van Gogh though, he wasn't painting to be famous, he was painting for himself and his brother rather then for the eyes of the public. Van Gogh wasn't instantly an amazing painter either, it took him years to improve to the point that people started finding it actual art. While it took until Van Gogh died for his art to be shared with the world, todays technology makes sharing art easier then ever before, and you most likely won't have to die before you get noticed.
