9 Composition Techniques article

When trying to make an eye catching image, it's interesting to know where to start, and this article helps start the thinking process. Using the rule of thirds is one way, providing a well constructed image as appose to only one focal point. Leading lines and figure to ground help to create depth in an image, making it more pleasing to look at. Diagonals work hand and hand with this, creating movement. Patterns and repetition help to draw the eye and help it move throughout the whole image. as well as a few others, these elements all make a work more appealing in the long run, and it's important to keep these in mind!
